Yin Rising 2026:
A Qigong Series for Women’s Health
April 17th - May 15th, 2026
Inspired by the myth of Inanna
Yin Rising is a one-month online immersion into women’s energetic anatomy, cyclical health, and embodied wisdom.
Drawing on Qigong, Chinese medicine, floor-based energetic practices, and storytelling, this course offers a body-led approach to women’s health that treats sensations, symptoms, and rhythms as meaningful information.
We will meet together over the course of one month (see dates below). If you cannot make the classes “live” recordings will be available through our learning portal on Mighty Network. Recordings will stay open for 9 months.
Yin Rising is for women who want a deeper relationship with their bodies and cycles — whether tending specific health concerns or cultivating steadiness and care through movement and rest.
The flow of the series
*While we would love to have your presence, you do not have to attend live classes to participate. Recordings will be uploaded.
Week 1: Hearing the Call
In this first week, you will learn about the energetics of the uterus and the meridians that nourish the womb.

Time zones are always a bit tricky when designing courses, especially when trying to accommodate both European and Australian participants. The intention is that everyone can attend at least one session live each week, though live attendance is not required.
All sessions are recorded and available for 9 months, so you have plenty of time to move through the material at your own pace. There will also be opportunities to ask questions and interact with other participants in the Mighty Networks learning community.
Why Yin Rising?
Many women experience painful menstruation, emotional intensity, hormonal irregularity, fertility or breast health concerns, or the shifts of perimenopause and menopause. Yin Rising approaches these experiences as signals — the body asking for a different pace, deeper listening, and more sustainable support.
Through short lectures and embodied teaching, Stephanie introduces the key meridians, organ systems, and extraordinary vessels involved in women’s health, with attention to psychological and emotional patterning, and long-term vitality. You’ll learn how the female energy body differs from the male body, and how cultivating yin sensitivity supports resilience, intuition, and inner authority.
The course includes three Qigong practices supporting menstrual health, fertility & breast health, and menopause. Each practice is appropriate at any age and emphasizes the extraordinary vessels — deep energetic pathways that regulate hormones, emotional steadiness, and vitality across the lifespan.
You will also participate in three extended, floor-based energetic practices using long, supported postures and acupressure. These sessions are slow and settling, supporting integration in the body. Throughout the month, the ancient myth of Inanna is woven through the practices as a symbolic companion for understanding cycles of depletion, restoration, and return as they are lived in the body.
