Yin Rising

A Qigong Series for Women’s Health

Women’s health encompasses a wide range of topics within Chinese Medicine and Qigong, deserving a dedicated course to explore its complexities. In honor of Women’s Health Month, Stephanie offers the special course “Yin Rising.” This program investigates how qigong, quiet reflection, storytelling, and poetry can be powerful tools to harness energy and empower women to embrace their natural cycles, wherever they are in life.

This course is unique among Stephanie’s offerings due to her blend of Qigong with meridian stretching and acupressure, integrated into a floor-based yin yoga practice. Participants will engage in storytelling, unpacking a fairy tale that addresses women’s health issues and draws wisdom from pre-Christian and pre-colonial cultures. Stephanie will delve into the story of the Selkie, exploring various versions and examining symbols and archetypes that provide insight into our modern lives as women.

Anatomy of Emotion

This course explores how emotions live in the body through the lens of Chinese Medicine. Each lesson focuses on a specific organ system, blending lecture, Qigong, healing sounds, and meditation to help you move through emotions with greater ease.

Originally taught in 2024 and 2025, the full 10-lesson series is now available on demand.

The Qigong movements were such a lovely way to feel what happens in the body, and it was exactly what I’d been needing. I’m so grateful to be part of this learning journey. Thank you!”

  • I truly value the light-hearted approach of this course. There’s no pressure for perfection, just genuine love for your body and joy in the movements. This simplicity and ease made it effortless to connect with the energy, and I often felt my body responding through yawning or tears during cleansing practices – a sure sign of its impact. After these six weeks, I notice a subtle but real shift in my inner energy, which motivates me to continue practicing. I absolutely recommend this course to anyone interested in authentic energy work and connecting deeply with their body.
